1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using Momentum, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. If you do not accept these Conditions, you must not use the Service.
2. Definitions
- “Service” — the Momentum mobile and web application and related features.
- “Wallet” — the in-app digital wallet provisioned for your account.
- “Stake” — funds you commit against a running goal or plan under the rules shown in-app.
- “Content” — data you submit, including run data, profile details, and AI-coach messages.
3. License to use
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Conditions. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our written consent.
4. Staking conditions
Staking features let you commit funds toward a goal. When you place a stake, you agree that:
- The specific rules, duration, and success criteria are those shown to you in-app at the time you place the stake.
- Outcomes depend on whether you meet those criteria; a stake may be returned, retained, or reduced according to the applicable rules.
- Transactions recorded on a public blockchain are final and cannot be reversed by Momentum.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any run or activity data used to evaluate a stake, and manipulating that data is prohibited.
5. Fees & payments
Downloading Momentum and tracking runs is free. Certain features may require adding funds to your Wallet or paying fees, which will be disclosed to you before you incur them. You authorize us and our payment and wallet providers to process the amounts you approve. You are responsible for any network or transaction fees and any applicable taxes.
6. Refunds & cancellation
You may stop using the Service at any time. Funds committed to an active stake are governed by that stake’s rules and may not be refundable once committed. Amounts recorded on a public blockchain cannot be reversed by Momentum. Where a right to a refund is required by applicable law, we will honor it.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of your Content. You grant Momentum a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display your Content as needed to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for your Content and confirm you have the rights to submit it.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Break any law or infringe anyone’s rights while using the Service.
- Falsify runs, spoof location, or tamper with staking outcomes.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to breach the security of the Service.
- Use automated tools to access the Service without our permission.
- Use the Service to launder funds or evade sanctions.
9. Availability & changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and we may update these Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be signaled by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
10. Liability & disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is.” Our disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification obligations are set out in full in our Terms of Service and apply equally to these Conditions. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
